Cbus Property

Cbus Property has named Marc Gillespie as its new head of sustainability after more than three years as its manager for sustainability and ESG.

As a subsidiary of Cbus, the industry superannuation fund for construction, building and allied industries, Cbus property manages strategic performance and management of all aspects of the company’s direct property investment business, with a portfolio of more than  $5 billion.

Before his tenure at the company, Gillespie was the sustainability manager of the environment at the Melbourne-based Vicinity Centres for over five years. He also worked as an environmental consultant for AusPost for over two years before being promoted to environment programs manager.

Brightly

Brightly has appointed Blake Gordon as Australia’s new general manager and country leader. The appointment follows the company’s first anniversary of merging with global infrastructure technology giant Siemens.

Gordon had worked with Siemens in Australia for 15 years in various roles before his appointment. These include sales and marketing roles and leadership roles. He was most recently the general manager of motion control and customer services business units within digital industries, which involved driving automated solutions for resources, water, energy, ports and general manufacturing industries.

CEFC

The Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) has announced that its appointed Tim Wheeler as its new manager of strategic research programs.

Prior to his new role, Wheeler spent over two years at the Property Council of Australia, including his last year and a half as the national policy manager for sustainability and regulatory affairs.
