Malaysian property developer EcoWorld has announced it will bid to redevelop the White Bay Power Station, part of UrbanGrowth NSW’s Bays precinct.
Other contenders include Mirvac, Google and Lendlease, and a consortium comprising universities and the CSIRO, according to the Australian Financial Review.
EcoWorld already has a handle of power station conversations, having spearheaded London’s Battersea Power Station redevelopment.
Shortlisted parties will not be revealed until mid-2016, according to UrbanGrowth.
