IN BRIEF: Australian household could save around $150 a year on their power bills under the NEG according to figures in a report leaked ahead of the its official release.
Ecogeneration reported on Thursday that the average household was forecasted to save around $550 a year on their retail bill over the 2020s compared to 2017-18, according to the leaked figures.
Close to $150 per year is predicted in additional savings as a result of the guarantee.
The leak precedes the upcoming Council of Australian Governments (COAG) meeting in August.
