Brief: Another major developer, Dexus, has achieved certification from the Science Based Target Initiative.
The certification means that the company’s targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions are in line with the latest climate science forecasts necessary to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement, which are to limit global warming below 2°C.
The Science Based Target Initiative is a joint initiative by CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, the World Resources Institute and WWF.
