Rachel Gallagher, The University of Queensland
Rachel Gallagher is a PhD candidate at the University of Queensland. Her research seeks to understand how cities adapt their urban form to changing conditions, such as rapid population growth or decline, natural disasters, deindustrialisation and climate change, and how urban policy influences (or fails to influence) desired settlement patterns. Rachel has qualifications in law, geographical sciences and urban and environmental planning, and is an experienced housing and planning policy specialist.
